Damian Porcari, Director of the Midwest Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, will provide an update from the USPTO covering topics such as patent subject matter eligibility and computer implemented functional claim limitations. Receive guidance on 2019 patent subject matter eligibility under 35 U.S.C. 101 and gain an understanding of how computer implemented functional claim limitations are examined for compliance with 35 U.S.C. 112 to improve your patent prosecution practice.
